American Engineering Corporation (AEC), in collaboration with TODA CORPORATION (TODA) successfully completed a facility construction project within Kadena Air Base without a single workplace accident.
In recognition of this achievement, AEC and TODA received the Construction Project Zero-Accident Award from the Okinawa Labor Standards Office.
The official certificate was presented at a ceremony held in Okinawa City on August 12, 2025.

Project Overview and Safety Management
The project began on May 9, 2023, and was handed over on May 9,2025 over the two-year construction period, the team maintained a safety-first approach while striving to balance quality assurance and efficient execution.
Daily safety checks and hazard prediction activities were rigorously conducted, and team members supported one another through constant communication on site.
These efforts enabled the project to be completed with zero workplace accidents.
Additionally, another renovation project carried out by the same joint venture (August 2022–January 2025) also achieved zero workplace accidents and received the same award in June 2025.
Receiving recognition for two consecutive projects reflect the results of consistent and thorough safety management practices.
Moving forward, AEC will continue to manage safety, quality, and schedule in a unified manner and maintain a construction system that earns the trust of both the local community and clients.
Encouraged by this recognition, the company will further strengthen its safety culture across all projects.
