AEC’s Year-End Support Initiatives
As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, American Engineering Corporation (AEC) supported several community organizations in Okinawa.
AEC operates with the belief that companies have a responsibility to contribute to the communities in which they work, and that strengthening the local social environment ultimately benefits both residents and the broader region.
Below is an overview of the organizations we supported and the value they bring to the community.
USO Okinawa
For more than eight decades, the United Service Organizations (USO) has supported U.S. service members and their families stationed around the globe.
In Okinawa, where many military personnel live far from home, the USO offers programs that promote well-being, strengthen family connections, and support individuals as they adjust to new environments.
Our contribution aims to support the continued delivery of these important services to the Okinawa community.
Holiday Food Gift Card Program (HFGCP)
The Holiday Food Gift Card Program assists U.S. military families and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel living in Okinawa by providing DeCA grocery gift cards to households facing financial constraints.
This includes, for example, service members at the E4 rank or below and DoD employees at the GS-5 level or lower.
The program plays an important role in ensuring that families can prepare seasonal meals and enjoy meaningful time together during the holidays.

In addition to the above initiatives, AEC actively participates in local educational support programs and environmental conservation activities that promote the long-term well-being of Okinawa.
These include beach cleanups aimed at preserving Okinawa’s beautiful natural environment, and education programs designed to support the next generation.
